Children at the TikvaHope after-school club in Or Akiva participated in the annual Seder ceremony, where they had a chance to experience a celebration of the Pesach holiday with loved ones.

The children, many of who are from broken homes, have been looking forward to this special event for weeks. David, age 9, stated “when we sit down all together, I can almost feel what real family holidays are like.”

All of the TikvaHope after-school clubs will be hosting Seder celebrations for the children before the holiday. Families of children enrolled in the clubs have received holiday food shopping cards to help them with their Passover purchases.
