After some much-needed extensive renovations, which lasted for several months, the after-school youth club in Or Akiva has finally reopened its doors, much to the delight of the 60 children who attend the club every day.

The club is now equipped with air conditioning, a learning corner and a library. A cheerful play area has been set up, as well as a dining area where the children can enjoy a hot, nutritious meal. The walls have been painted by a skilled artist, helping promote a sense of happiness and calm.

Ilanit Hafuta, the branch manager, reports that the children’s general mood and behavior have dramatically improved since the re-opening.
